I had a very disappointing experience at City Dental in Cleveland. I originally went to the emergency room on June 17 due to a painful tooth infection and was prescribed antibiotics. I followed up with this dental office on June 20 and was told the infection was still too inflamed for extraction and was scheduled to return on June 27. On June 27, I returned expecting the tooth to finally be extracted after following all instructions and completing antibiotics. However, the procedure was not completed, and I left without treatment and still in significant pain. During the visit, I also felt that my concerns about pain and numbing before the injection were dismissed in an unprofessional manner. As a patient already in pain and anxiety, I expected respectful communication and proper care. After multiple visits, delays, and ongoing pain, I am now seeking emergency care again. I am very disappointed with the lack of communication, care consistency, and resolution. I would not recommend this office based on my personal experience.

honestly can't believe this place is even licensed! Based on the reviews and my own experience today with a rude receptionist, it's hard to see how they operate. My sister,who is disabled had a toothache and had an appointment. Couple hours before the appointment the receptionist called my sister to say that her insurance denied the x-ray and that it would have to be paid out of pocket! my sister arrived for her appointment she was told it was canceled. She called me and when I got there the male receptionist insisted her appointment was still on but claimed she had work done elsewhere so they wouldn't touch it. He also denied ever calling my sister about the insurance denial and tried to provoke me into a verbal fight to justify canceling my appointment. I can guarantee that they tried to bill for panoramic X-ray for the 💰💰which in this case Medicaid only allow it once every 5 years and she already had it done somewhere else. From my experience and what I've read in the reviews it seems like they're running a shady practice filtering cases and rejecting those with low insurance reimbursements while going after the higher-paying ones. Dentist and entire staff are awesome. They really do care and work with their patients. Whole staff is also very friendly. Good place to check out for any emergency!
